CSI, the who, adultswim, and vonnegut; yeah....

i would just like to say that i am freaking hooked on CSI: Miami. when CSI first came out, i pretty much refused to watch it because i claimed they were trying to profit off of the amazing popularity of crime drama that law&order had created and continued to dominate, in both ratings and quality. so i only actually saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. and then i discovered that a&e, also my new best friend, actually plays it every weeknight at 8, and that the really lame local channel plays it weekends at like 7 or something. rock on.
but i only like miami. it's freaking great. and i think my obsession centers greatly around cute guy, so named by myself because i prefer calling him that to 'wolf'.
but damn, he looks like jake gyllenhaal...only slightly less gorgeous.
and i stress 'slightly'.
anyway, i just really needed to get that out....
um....in other news, although barnes&noble is still, quite possibly, the best store in the general vicinity of....um.....here......um, right, it's now dropped a few points on the awesome scale due to their labeling of a 'the who' cd as 'pop rock'. really, where the hell have they been? i mean, if the who was ever considered pop rock, it was in like, the 70's. now, the term pop rock is reserved for the shit little boy bands and others to that effect who get paid ass loads of money to convince people (falsely) that they can sing. ugh. stupid barnes&noble music people.
on the bright side, i got a kick ass sketchbook for $9. woot woot!
on the not-so-bright-side, what has happened to adult swim? they've completly replaced all their old shows, and the only good new ones are bleach and trinity blood. but i mean, s-cry-ed is gone.....fma is hardly ever on.....trigun's never on......cowboy bebop is completly gone.....samurai champloo is on like, every two weeks.......it sucks. wtf is paranoia agent about? it really creeps me out......a deranged teenager that kills people with a bent bat? and all the other main characters have some serious demons. and i'm still trying to decide whether or not eureka 7 is half decent. the only good stuff that's left and constantly there are athf(which is pretty much only on on sundays anyway), family guy and futurama! it's so sad!
and their site has gone to crap.
i know i know, i complain too much. but really....what am i to watch on a saturday night? snl? ha! that's gone to crap too.
ugh.
=okay okay, i'll stop with the pessimism.
but it's not like i can help it....i was reading vonnegut earlier and you should all know what that does to a person.
